It was great to hear the Liverpool football manager Jurgen Klopp talk so positively about his recent hair transplant.
Klopp, who turned 50 last month, said: "Yes it's true. I underwent a hair transplant. I think the results are really cool, don't you?"
Yes we do, Jurgen - you are a wonderful advert for the benefits of hair transplantation.
More than half of men of Klopp's age have experienced some kind of hair loss, and this is likely to accelerate as they get older.
Klopp, sensibly, wanted to restore his hair at the front of his hairline and had a highly effective procedure.
He almost certainly used the same FUE (follicular unit extraction) technique of Crown Clinic patients model Calum Best, Gogglebox star Chris Steed, Homes Under The Hammer star Martin Roberts and the former Liverpool footballer Didi Hamann.
With FUE, the donor hairs are removed indvidually from the back or side of the scalp - scarring is minimal except for a few red pin pricks in the days after the operation which soon fade.
With FUT, the donor hair is harvested by removing a strip of skin - leaving a small linear scar which can be seen beneath the hairline if you wear your hair short but not if you wear your hair a little longer like Dr Jessen.
All the patients at Crown Clinic are treated by our world renowned surgeon Asim Shahmalak, who you often seen on TV and in the media. He is one of the very best in the world.
