Crown Clinic First in UK to Use CompuMed Anaesthetic Delivery System

POSTED: 24 May 2011

Crown Cosma Clinic is the only hair restoration clinic in the UK to use CompuMed, a new local anaesthetic delivery system that offers pain free surgery. The state of the art system has been specifically designed with needle-phobic patients in mind, providing just the right level of anaesthetic to eliminate pain.

Dr. Shahmalak commented: “Pain is of course a concern for anyone undergoing a minor surgical procedure the CompuMed system has proven very effective in making our procedures pain free. We are always investing in equipment and techniques that improve the patient experience, and this new system demonstrates our commitment to offering the most comfortable, pain free hair restoration procedures in the UK.”

The system is comprised of two key elements, the CompuMed microprocessor and the Wand hand piece. The effect is a barely imperceptible injection that delivers anaesthetic in just the right amount, so patients feel no pain.
