Crown clinic and our surgeon Asim Shahmalak were back in the news last week.
We were lucky enough to attract lots of media coverage for our story about the model Calum Best's third - yes third -hair transplant at Crown Clinic.
Calum had a follicular unit extraction procedure - similar to the two hair transplants Wayne Rooney has had.
You can learn more about Calum's new procedure here:
Calum had 1,200 grafts - around 2,000 individual hairs - harvested from the back and side of his head and transplanted into the front of his scalp where Calum is still thinning.
This new hair will be permananet and should last Calum for the rest of his life. He may well contniue to lose his natural, though our surgeon Asim Shahmalak has noticed a slowing in the process since Calum had hs first transplant at Crown Clinic almost three years ago.
Calum has admitted the hair transplants conducted by Dr Shahmalak have been crucial in helping to maintain his career in the public eye which is dependent on Calum looking good for the cameras.
Calum had his latest transplant just before he went in the Celebrity Big House. He was keen to brush up on his looks - and locks! - before facing the cameras.
Anyone watching the show can see that Calum is coming over brilliantly on Celebrity Big Brother. He is one of the few housemates who isn't completely mad!
We have had a wonderful working relationship with Calum over the last three years. It may well be that Calum will require a fourth procedure further down the line. Calum is relucant to take Propecia - the clinically drug which allows patients to keep hold of their natural hair.
Around 2% of patients taking Propecia suffer side effects such as a reduced libido - and Calum didn't want to take the risk.
That is why he has been such a regular patient of Crown Clinic.
We'll be voting for Calum to win Celebrity Big Brother - and we hope to see him back at the clinic very soon.
