Crown Clinic was back in the news again this week.
We wanted to look at the success of celebrity cosmetic surgery procedures.
We know the positive effect Wayne Rooney's two hair transplants have had at Crown Clinic . There was a 25% surge in books with many men - particularly those under 30 - wanting to follow Rooney's example by combating their premature baldness with a transplant.
Lots of other celebrities have been open about other cosmetic procedures and their postive effect in combating ageing.
We thought it would be fun to look at all the most successful celebrity procedures.
We commissioned a poll and found out all the procedures the public liked best. Our final list included procedures on stars such as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini (teeth), Anne Robinson (eye life), Megan Fox (nose job), Michael Douglas (facelift), Lord Sugar (bags removed from his eyes) and Madonna (pouting lips).
We then showcased these procedures in a graphic showing the perfect (surgically enhanced) celebrity faces.
The story was picked up by the Daily Star and published in the link below:
Our poll found that 58% of men would have a hair transplant procedure just like the stars -a FUT or FUE procedure- if money was no object. An even high number of women would do the same.
Our surgeon Asim Shahmalak explained: "It is fascinating to see that the majority of men and women would have cosmetic surgery if money was no object.
"They have seen how stars like Anne Robinson still looking amazing in their 70s. Anne is a brilliant presenter but I have no doubt that she has managed to prolong her career on TV by having cosmetic surgery and looking so much younger.
"Men are increasingly facing the same pressures, too. It is why highly successful actors like James Nesbitt have hair transplant procedures.
"He knows that having them gives him the option of lots more roles."
